HUGE WEEKEND OF VRRC AHEAD
Race meetings are a bit like buses and trams, none seem to come for ages then all of sudden heaps come at once. Last weekend we had the ASBK at The Bend Motorsport Park in South Australia, where we fielded a 1 bike team with Tim Large (TL Turbo) in the Motorsports TV Supersport class aboard his Yamaha R6. This weekend we are headed to Broadford State Motorcycle Complex for the Victorian Road Race Championship, and it will be a whole different kettle of fish for us. We will have a 12-rider team, yep you heard correctly, 12 riders in what will be a busy but massively fun weekend for our little team. While each of our 12 riders are at different levels, all of them will have specific key areas of focus that they will be working on throughout an action packed weekend. Riders in action will be: RIDER CLASS RACE NUM BIKE Buzz Kiely S/SPORT 26 Yamaha R6 William Sharrock S/SPORT 44 Yamaha R6 Brendan Wilson S/SPORT 54 Yamaha R6 Tim Large S/SPORT 74 Yamaha R6 Luke Sanders S/SPORT 88 Yamaha R6 Harley Side S/SPORT 95 Yamaha R6 Joel Gilmore SBK 11 Kawasaki ZX-10R Daniel DiNuzzo SBK 45 Yamaha R1 Jack Drew SBK 82 Yamaha R1 Luke Martyr SBK 137 Yamaha R1 Gordo S/SPORT 300 17 Yamaha R3 Colin Bone S/SPORT 300 69 Kawasaki Ninja 400 Fergus Gibson BEARS F2 85 KTM 890 CREW ROLE Darren Sciberras Team Manager & Technical Lead & Rider Mentor Dingo Meade Race Mechanic and Suspension Tech Josh Darmody-Schembri Race Mechanic Julian Redondo Race Mechanic and Suspension Tech There will also be a few noticeable emissions for our team this weekend with a few of our riders opting to sit out this round and start a fresh in 2022. 4 x Victorian Superbike Champion Nathan Jones recently under went shoulder surgery to repair an injury sustained in a mountain bike crash, while almost fit he has opted to sit the remainder of 2021 out.
