Late last year we has the much anticipated Yamaha R9 in our workshop for both performance upgrades and a custom suspension setup.
Long term customer Mel is no stranger to triples. We have been working on her MV Agusta F3 800 for over 9 years. So we couldn't wait to get our hands on her new bike and set what Yamaha's middle weight Superpsort Triple had to over.
We started out by putting the bike on the dyno for some base runs to check both the power output and also what the OEM throttle mapping was doing.
What did we find out and how much extra power did the bike make?
