ABOUT THE KIT:

This new state-of-the-art Throttle Blipper system or Down Shifter is designed to compliment Translogic’s Intellishift DCS systems and Powershift systems. The Blip Assist ECU interfaces with the engines throttle body connectors via the plug&play connectors. During down shifts either Translogic’s DCS sensor or Powershifter ECU sends a signal to the Blip Assist ECU which then performs a controlled throttle blip depending on riding conditions at the time of the down shift.

The exciting NEW pit lane warm up feature incorporated into these state-of-the-art throttle blipper systems is activated by an anodised billet aluminium handle bar mounted bracket encapsulating a single sealed tactile button featuring gold plated contacts for precise operation.

Fully adjustable and adaptive. The strength/duration of the throttle blip can be adjusted using Translogic’s Pro-Tuner-Mode (No PC is necessary). The sensor Trigger force can be adjusted too as well as the intensity of the blip itself in 5 different RPM bands. There are default settings within the Blip Assist ECU thanks to the hundreds of hours of real world testing carried out by Translogic Systems and it’s professional partners giving you a great head start when first experiencing this new technology.

  • The Translogic Intellishift Quickshifter ECU is the smallest multi-channel Quickshifter in the world, not like most other basic single channel systems.
  • Intellishift Quickshifter systems that feature the DCS dual channel sensors have a 2 pin connector output which can be used with external throttle blipper devices.
  • The Intellishift Quickshifter ECUs feature Pro-Tuner-Mode where a professional user can simply and quickly alter the sensor Trigger force and set different interrupt times at specific engine RPMs providing total control, then the Intellishift protocol takes those settings and enhances them further.
  • MotoGP seamless shift simulation. Although its impossible to create a true Moto GP seamless shift action as it’s a feature of the physical gear box Translogic’s seamless shift simulation is a unique feature of these powerful Intellishift quickshifter systems enabling the rider to take advantage of much quicker gearshifts and more importantly even smoother quickshifts.
  • Translogic quick shifters interrupt cylinders separately and do not simply short the signal wires to ground like other systems, this isn’t good for the OEM ECU, the Translogic Quickshifters compliment the OEM ECUs to ensure superior longevity.
  • The software protocol inside Translogic Intellishift quickshifter systems are specifically developed for specific models, not just a basic operation so they provide superior shifting as they feature Intellishift with adaptive shift technology.

INSTALLATION:

  • The Blip Assist ECUs TLS-BA4-R1-ECU and TLS-BA4-R6-ECU require either an Intellishift DCS Quickshifter system or Powershifter PSR-PRO system to already be installed as they are complimenting ECUs and cannot operate independently without these components.

    Due to the technical nature of this product and potential for wiring damage if wring isn’t secured properly, we highly recommend it is installed by a professional technician and is also tested on a dyno. You don’t want to waste your track day troubleshooting an installation that hasn’t been tested properly.

    We at Race Center are highly experienced with these units and use them in our race team. As such we offer both Supply Only OR Supply, Installation and Setup options. All our installations are checked by a 2nd technician, setup and tested on our dyno plus road bikes get a further road test.  You also receive a little video of your bike running on the dyno. 

    Please note we normally have a minimum of a 2 to 4 week lead time for bookings. We will need the bike for between 3 to 5 days to complete the work. Please specify your desired booking date and we will be in touch to confirm the date
