About Us

Race Center was founded to provide both road and track riders the invaluable experience of our

collective years of racing and motorcycle knowledge. We believed that regardless of experience

level, every rider deserved the same care and access to knowledge.

Founded in 2014 Race Center brought together over 40 years of experience which was put to the

test when we competed as a wildcard in the 2015 World Superbike Championship at Phillip Island.

We put on an impressive showing with our own Jed Metcher piloting the RC-10 Superbike which was

built by Race Center.

Some of our results as a team and for our customers include, numerous lap records, Australian

Superbike Race victories, Australian championship wins and many, many state tiles…oh and World

Superbike Championship points.

We execute same processes and work ethic that achieved these results into every job we do.

Meet the Team

Darren Sciberras: Managing Director and Technical / Suspension Chief

Mechanical Engineering background, fluid dynamics, raced for over 10 years including multiple state titles wins.

Spent over 6 years as test rider for our suspension technologies and is our chief road tester.

Jed Metcher: Sales Manager and Rider Mentor

Winning the 2011 FIM STK600 Championship in Europe was clear proof of Jed’s class and speed. Jed has set many lap records and raced in both World Supersport and World Superbike.

Monday to Friday Jed manages our sales and orders, while we are trackside he heads up our rider coaching as well as providing technical assistance.

Benny Dingo Meade: Suspension Technician

Dingo (as he is affectionately known) is part of our trackside team specialising in suspension. Like his Race Center colleges Dingo was (sort of still is) a very accomplished and fast racer with the highlight being, a championship win in the Pirelli Road Race TT Series, Supersport class.

Benny has spent an apprenticeship under our managing director Daz where he has learnt his suspension craft.

Our core team is bolstered by additional trackside staff when the need arises.
